The different features below represent the value which Safeguard can deliver on a real time basis either as agregated data to the employer or as personalised data direct to the individual through the Safeguard App.

REGULATORY WORKING HOURS

A running log of working hours can be maintained with warnings to users (via the app) and supervisors when thresholds are approached or exceeded. Forward planning allowances are also included in the data summary.

SLIPS, TRIPS AND FALLS

Each slip, trip and fall event can be identified by time, location and trade.  This information can be displayed in a heat map. The data may show particular areas housekeeping could be improved.

NOISE CONTROL

All noise levels experienced by the user are recorded, this creates an exposure log for each individual which is delivered through the app. Real-time heat maps are also generated for all areas which allows the noise to be managed.

RESTRICTED ACCESS CONTROL

Using either indoor or outdoor location technology messages can be generated when there is a conflict of working areas or an immediate alert to the users helmet can be triggered if they move within a restricted zone.

HAND AND ARM VIRBATION (HAVS)

The exact duration of each user’s exposure to HAVS is logged every day and messages generated and sent via the app once particular thresholds are approached or exceeded.

HEAT STRESS

Using a combination of the users physical exertion and ambient temperature a measure of heat stress risk can be understood. Warnings to the users through the app and HSE department can be generated.

A log of the users exposure to MSK risks can be calculated using machine learning and delivered to the user as well as to his general practitioner and manager (with the user’s permission)

Substance

Immediate identification using machine learning of users who are suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol is created and delivered to the individual’s supervisor.

FATIGUE DETECTION

From the rich data collected from the worksite we believe we can accurately detect the onset of fatigue in the user carrying the device in their hardhat allowing appropriate intervention before an accident can occur.
